Front’s journey into tattooing began over 15 years ago in the Dominican Republic, where he built his foundation not only as an artist, but as a disciplined craftsman. After opening and running his own studio, he developed a deep understanding of what it means to create tattoos with structure, intention, and responsibility. That foundation later evolved in New York City, one of the most demanding tattoo markets in the world, where he directed a studio and worked in respected spaces such as Gara Art Studio and INK 181, sharpening both his technical precision and artistic voice.
Working exclusively in Black & Grey Realism, Front approaches every tattoo as a carefully constructed composition. For him, realism is not just about replicating an image. It is about mastering light, shadow, depth, and movement so the piece lives naturally on the body. Each design is developed from concept to execution with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring strong contrast, fluid anatomical flow, and long-term integrity as the tattoo ages.
His process is intentional and collaborative. Every project begins with conversation, research, and planning, allowing ideas to evolve into something powerful and personal. Tattooing, in his philosophy, is wearable art. Permanent, meaningful, and built with purpose.
